zip it and play golf

I don't think I'm the only one that feels this way, but I'm probably in the minority today. I really don't care what Tiger has to say. Its none of my business how freaky he needs to be, or the number (although if he gets up to Wilt numbers I'd probably be curious in knowing) of high and low class hoochie mamas he'd run around with while he had a hot wife already.

He doesn't owe anyone other than his family any apologies. Mostly to his kids. Certainly not me, and definitely not the gossip consuming American public.

People ask why. "Why" is obvious. He's Tiger freaking Woods. He operates in a world more alien to me than the stuff in movies. Tiger and every elite athlete in this world live in a radically different place than the rest of us working stiffs. Nothing wrong with that, it's just the way it is.

So go and get your statement out, please. The faster we get past that we can get back to sport, which is really the only reason I'm interested in anything Tiger.

I would however, recommend having Tiger's people contact Michael's and Kobe's people - at a minimum. Ask for copies of all their notes regarding 'damage control', because I would guess that in that world, a lot of rookie mistakes happened.
